Magsaysay awardees push renewable energy

TWO of this year’s Ramon Magsaysay awardees have called on the Philippine government to match its renewable energy commitments and targets with firm action and deliverables. Both renewable energy champions, Harish Hande of India and Tri Mumpuni of Indonesia separately made sustainable electricity in under-served areas a powerful equalizer in the communities they serve.
