Progress Energy Carolinas seeks wind power projects

RALEIGH, N.C. – Progress Energy Carolinas on Thursday issued a request for proposals (RFP) for electricity generated from wind resources. This request is part of the utility’s continual efforts to increase the amount of electricity purchased from renewable energy resources and is its first RFP focused only on wind power projects.
